In the first quarter of 2025, the Italian market for free-to-play games on a unified platform saw some interesting trends. Using data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the performance of five leading apps.

Block Blast! by Hungry Studio experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 122K and peaking at around 157K mid-January. Active users rose steadily, reaching over 3.3M by mid-February, before a slight decline to just under 3M by the end of March.

Vita Mahjong from Vita Studio maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly figures hovering around 40K. Its revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at $346 in mid-March. Active users steadily rose from 155K to over 284K by the end of the quarter.

Pokémon TCG Pocket had a notable revenue spike in early February, reaching approximately $1.4M. Weekly downloads were more stable, averaging around 40K. Active users remained fairly consistent, slightly decreasing from about 765K to 628K.

Roblox showed a downward trend in revenue, starting at $232K and dropping to around $94K by the end of March. Downloads varied slightly, maintaining an average of 40K weekly. Active users saw fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 1.95M.

Finally, Township by Playrix witnessed a steady decline in downloads, from about 59K to 22K. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $100K. Active users, however, showed an upward trend, reaching a high of 405K in late March.
